Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) is a multi award winning investment advisory firm in New Zealand. With 17 offices located throughout the country and over 140 Investment Advisers, CIP is one of NZ’s largest investment firms, offering advice to private investors, corporate and institutional clients.

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to join CIP on a permanent/full time basis, based in our Head Office in Tauranga.

As part of its digital services strategy, CIP is developing a range of on-line services through various digital platforms and channels alongside the automation of a range of client engagement business processes.  The Digital BA, in conjunction with the Head of Client Services, Head of Marketing & Communications and Head of Information Technology, will assist to define, document, prioritise, develop and implement initiatives required to deliver the digital services strategy and update and amend these deliverables in response to any changes in market conditions and/or business requirements. 

The successful execution of the digital services strategy requires engagement with Stakeholders from within the business.  The Digital BA operates as the business conduit for ‘digital projects’, ensuring requirements are documented, prioritised and signed off by Stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 to 5 years current or recent experience in a similar digital services or related role.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Solid knowledge of principles, concepts, practices, techniques and tools in the areas of digital platforms and channels,
  • Experience with project management.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking/innovation;
  • Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills;

Candidates must have a proven ability to plan and deliver a program of work, to a high standard.  This is a position suiting someone with initiative and a proactive approach. A background in the financial services sector and an understanding of financial business applications will be highly regarded.
