Due to an internal appointment, we have an opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator to join the People and Performance team based in Head Office, Tauranga. This is a permanent position, with full time hours.
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the processing of the company payroll for over 480 employees. Ensuring payments are made accurately and meeting statutory requirements is critical to continuing the current high standard of execution. The position also oversees the management of employee records, contributes to reporting, and maintains remuneration data. This position provides advice and assistance to managers and the wider people and performance team with regard to payroll and employee information.
We are seeking interest from candidates with at least three years’ experience running a company payroll, which must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Intermediate Excel capabilities
- Self-starter with the ability to show initiative
- Previous experience with IMS Payroll would be an advantage
CIP’s Investment Advisers are paid via a commission structure. The Payroll Coordinator works in conjunction with the Commissions team to ensure accurate calculations and payments are made. Experience with variable pay and commission calculations would be advantageous.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a dedicated People and Performance team based in our Head Office in Tauranga. Ideally we would like our successful candidate to start in January 2019.
